"As the ocean is vast and mysterious the mountains are daunting and impressive. Starting a climb is generaly not a descision made lightly as the altitude and snow exposure can mean hidden dangers that demand respect. The ocean often announces its power. Mountains can appear calm and welcoming right up until the moment they remind you who’s in charge."

The mountains have shaped much of the work we create today.

We have our eyes set on adventure and expedition storytelling, and in that we realise the road to experience is one that will take us down many smaller paths before we ever reach the summit.
One of those paths is joining the Belgian Paracommando's mountaineering course. We document it, but more importantly, we learn along the way. Photography and filmmaking have taught us that mastering a craft takes years of curiosity, patience and repetition. We believe mountaineering deserves that same respect. Opportunities like these are eye-opening and incredibly valuable as we slowly find our place in the mountains..
Today our mission is Mont Blanc, but what will it be tomorrow? We honestly don't know yet, and we're excited to find out where the next adventure takes us.
this shot took my breath away when i took it - as i couldn't sleep, i suddenly saw this unfold in front of my eyes, the moon reflecting the snow. - Raïs

"I've been humiliated by the mountains, but through it all - I have learned to appreciate them. Nothing can possibly compare to the feeling of how grotesk the mountains feel.
"I will never forget the first time I layed my eyes on a "real" mountain"

For me it was the alps, 12 years old on a summer camp hiking with 20 other children our guide showed us how to navigate and find our way, how to respect altitude and how to prepare for a quick twist of the weather. The beauty followed by a storm or thick fog.
as a 12 year old boy climbing my first 3000 felt like a giant leap standing on top of the world (or at least as big as my world was back then).
Now we capture the beauty of these landscapes the rugged peaks ominous clouds and creeping sunrises, there is a thing about sunlight coming from below you, it creates something magical that normaly only the clouds experience. Documenting mountains is not easy as it generaly means carrying a decent amount of extra weight so being well trained and equiped to handle these environments is key and something we specialise in.
