Anyone can become a hybrid shooter with the right information! (even if you feel like you're not an expert!)
I'M READY TO BECOME A HYBRID SHOOTER!
This hybrid shooting course will finally make you be able to shoot video next to your photography in the same shoot. We will TEACH YOU EVERYTHING you need to know to be a FULL pro, the EASY way, without overloading you with things you don’t need to know.
I'M READY TO ADD tHIS to MY SKILLSET!
You finally add video to your visual storytelling skillset
FINALLY, you can confidently talk about video, audio and everything you need to know about videography
You learn the skill of shooting short "video snippets", instead of becoming a full on videographer (although you could after this course!), making your deliverables quick and easy!
You can finally have all the social media content you ever wanted.
You sell your photography, and suddenly, you can charge so much extra for extra video.
Hybrid shooting means shooting photo + video at the same time. With the right setup, you can switch between photo & video, without ever missing a moment.
Joa has been a hybrid shooter for big brands for 10+ years, when the cameras didn't make it as easy as they make it today.
Over the years, he developed a system that makes switching between photo and video fast, predictable and almost automatic - so you can focus on the story instead of the settings.
Canon has repeatedly invited us to teach this hybrid workflow to other visual storytellers.
I'M READY TO learn this exact system!

I honestly wished I had met Joa sooner, because he developed a system that makes it WAY easier and means you never have to worry about the settings on the job itself.
Canon even asked Joa to teach the system internally — that’s how eye-opening they found it.
He also taught me so much about storytelling, because when I first started filming, my videos just looked like some moving stills glued together. It didn’t look right, and I didn’t know why.
Simple storytelling frameworks fixed it.
From both our standpoints — me, a total beginner and KNOWING what you need to add, and Joa with his in-depth, strong system — we now bring the course to you. Since then, we've traveled the world together and documented our stories, both for brands, couples, as for ourselves.
In the meantime, we’ve taught the system in 3 immediately sold-out Canon workshops, with students being overjoyed.
Because we couldn’t teach it all in person, we created this in-depth course with EVERYTHING you need to know.
We have poured our hearts and souls into it. This truly opens doors to working with more brands / clients, charging higher rates for the ones you already have, elevating your socials and SO much more.
Honestly, in today’s landscape, adding video as a visual storyteller is kind of a MUST.
And you can create short 10-second clips as add-ons for your clients or for your socials after this course (how I use it), or create long-form videos like Joa and add full-on videography. It doesn’t matter.
After this course, you can do both.
So yeah - we hope you love it.
Much love,
Raïs
(and Joa, obviously)
Still here?
Hi! A couple of years ago, Canon noticed I had started hybrid shooting - adding video snippets to my socials and wedding galleries.
They asked me to teach workshops about it, but I only wanted to teach those with Joa, because the truth was: I had learned this skill from Joa.
See, years ago, I didn’t want anything to do with video. It seemed too complicated, and I never felt called to become a “videographer”.
Too complicated, too much hassle, and I was a photographer at my core.
He told me exactly how I had to set it up and how to do it. He taught me in, like, one afternoon.
Years of watching YouTube (because believe me, I tried!) didn’t teach me the skills I needed to do both at the same time.
All I could find were full-on videography courses from video bros, but those weren’t tangible skills I could personally use. Like I said, I did not want to become a full-on videographer.
